Vessel Inspiration
I was gifted a small vessel this year - I love its shape, delicateness, and inherent history. Concerned it might have some significance to the Zuni Pueblo Tribe I contacted the Principal Investigator/Tribal Historic Preservation Officer of the Zuni Cultural Resource Enterprise. I had a wonderful exchange with him - and after some research he responded: ”it is not a sacred object or item of cultural patrimony. Also, based on your expression of appreciation and fondness for this vessel, I believe it should remain with you. Enjoy”

Vessel, possibly Acoma Pueblo or Zuni Pueblo pottery from early 19th century.
FUNDRAISER
Having been keenly concerned with the high incidence of MMIW - Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, all proceeds from the sale of these vessels will be donated to the

AND MORE VESSELS
I fashioned a number of vessels made from clay (found in a long-standing horse manure pile at our community garden) and some from orfPlaster of Paris. Some have additional elements added onto the surface. Each measures approximately 2.5” high and 3.5” in diameter. These are quite sturdy, they are NOT fired, and for the most part can not be used for liquids, or edibles.
